What's Happening Around Lyon Academy? August 28th, 2014

Take a look at some of the great postings in classrooms throughout the building that were spotted this week! Be sure to give these teachers a "high five" when you see them! If you know someone who has a great item  in their class or you have something you would like to share, please e-mail a picture to me at Tyler.Archer@slps.org!

Ms. DeLeon's student work posting in the main hallway captures what students did over the summer!

Mr. Wolfenden's "Reader's Purpose" Anchor Chart helps students with identifying reasons for reading and was used as a model during the Independent Reading block.

Mr. Murphy's student work project gives a student perspective on lab safety rules.

Ms. Weininger's "Mastery Page" assignment allows students to show their knowledge of prime factorization!

Ms. Colacino has created an anchor chart with her students to help them when they encounter difficulties in reading, and her student work is out of this world!

Mr. Swanston's students have helped him to create an anchor chart of presentation "Dos" and "Don'ts" for their recent projects and will use some of the criteria to assess student mastery!
